How to read these examples
Each example is hypothetical. Reward figures are calculated live from the published program, so open the referral earnings calculator and enter the inputs shown to see the result.
Example A: single payment (illustrative)
A company completes a licensing deal and SourceX collects its fee in one payment. Your reward is 25% of that eligible fee.
Example B: installments (illustrative)
The buyer pays in several installments. A reward is created as each fee installment is collected, and they add up toward the $100,000 per-company cap.
Example C: reaching the cap (illustrative)
A large deal produces a fee where 25% would exceed the cap. The reward stops at $100,000, and later installments for the same company add nothing more.
Example D: refund (illustrative)
If part of a fee is refunded, the refunded amount is not eligible and the reward is adjusted.
