What does SourceX manage after a company introduction?

After a company introduction, SourceX manages the evaluation of the opportunity, secures necessary permissions and contracts, and handles data preparation, delivery to AI buyers, and collection of payments. This includes assessing data relevance, legal rights, and coordinating all aspects of the licensing deal.

When you introduce a business to SourceX, your role is primarily to make that initial connection. After your referral, SourceX takes over the comprehensive management of the opportunity, ensuring a smooth process from evaluation to payment collection for a successful data licensing partnership.

SourceX's Management Process

SourceX orchestrates several critical stages following a company introduction:

  1. Opportunity Review and Evaluation: SourceX meticulously assesses the referred company's operational data. This includes reviewing its operating history, existing documentation, and crucially, the rights it holds to license its data. We also determine if the material is relevant and valuable for a real buyer program. This ensures that any potential data licensing aligns with market demand and legal requirements.
  1. Permissions and Contracting: SourceX manages the process of obtaining necessary permissions from the referred company to proceed with discussions and potential data licensing. We handle all aspects of contracting, outlining what data scope the company is willing to provide and the commercial terms it agrees to. No data is shared without the company's explicit approval.
  1. Data Preparation and Delivery: Once a licensing deal is established, SourceX facilitates the preparation of the data for AI buyers. This includes ensuring data quality, structuring, and secure delivery. We act as the intermediary, simplifying a complex process for both the data owner and the buyer.
  1. Payment Collection: After the data is accepted by the buyer, SourceX is responsible for collecting its platform fees. This crucial step ensures that all financial obligations are met, leading to the final stage of reward processing for our partners.

What SourceX Controls

In essence, SourceX takes charge of the entire lifecycle of a data licensing deal once an introduction is made. This includes:

Evaluation: Determining the fit and value of the data for existing buyer programs. Permissions: Securing the data owner's consent and defining the scope of data to be licensed. Contracting: Negotiating and finalizing the legal and commercial terms of the data licensing agreement. Preparation: Assisting with data structuring and ensuring it meets buyer specifications. Delivery: Securely transferring the licensed data to the AI buyer. Payment Collection: Managing the financial transactions and collecting SourceX's fees from the buyer.

Your responsibility as a partner is limited to making the introduction. You never need to export, upload, or describe confidential records yourself. The referred company retains control over deciding whether to proceed, what scope of data to offer, and the terms it accepts.

Rewards are calculated as 25% of SourceX's eligible collected platform fees, capped at $100,000 per referred company. A lead, meeting or signed agreement alone does not trigger payment. See the program terms.
