Client data licensing eligibility checker
This checker gives a preliminary view of whether a client company may fit SourceX's current preferred profile for licensing its operational records to AI labs and data buyers: a US company with 50+ full-time employees at peak, years of business records, an executive you can reach, and interest in exploring licensing. It returns Potential fit, More information needed, or Outside the current preferred profile.

How it is calculated
Results: Potential fit, More information needed or Outside the current preferred profile. "Rights clarification needed" is a separate flag when records may belong to clients or third parties, or ownership is unknown.
A company is outside the current profile if it is based outside the US, reported fewer than 50 full-time employees at peak, is not interested, or holds mainly personal data. If country, peak headcount or record categories are unknown, or three or more answers are missing, the result is "More information needed" with specific questions. Otherwise a priority score of 55 or more is a potential fit.
- Company profile fit (25): US 10; peak FTE 50+ 10; mostly English records 5, mixed 3.
- Record depth and usefulness (30): 10+ years 12, 3–9 years 8, under 3 3; 3 per business record category up to 4; two or more systems 6, one 3.
- Executive access and introduction permission (25): owner or deciding executive 15, other contact 5; permission given 10, will ask 4.
- Interest and preparation readiness (20): open to it 14, possibly 7; company believes it owns its records 6, partly third-party 2.
"Not sure" answers score 0 and stay unknown. This is SourceX's preferred profile; individual buyers can have their own requirements, which are assessed later and separately.
Worked example (illustrative)
Illustrative only: a US logistics company with 120 full-time employees at peak, 10+ years of support tickets, procedures and project histories in a CRM and helpdesk, an owner who has said they're open to it and agreed to an introduction, scores about 90 — Potential fit.
Assumptions and limitations
- All answers are self-reported and preliminary.
- A result is not buyer approval, legal clearance or a promise of a transaction or payment.
- Record ownership and permissions must be confirmed with the company.
- Don't enter confidential documents, credentials or personal data.
Questions and answers
Which companies can license their data to AI companies?
SourceX currently focuses on established US companies with 50+ full-time employees at peak and years of operational records, where an executive is willing to explore licensing.
Do contractors count toward the 50 employees?
No. Count full-time employees at the company's peak.
What does More information needed mean?
A critical answer, such as peak headcount or record types, is unknown. The result lists the questions to ask.
What is the rights flag?
It appears when some records may belong to clients or third parties, or ownership is unknown. Rights need to be clarified before any deal.
Does a Potential fit mean a buyer will license the data?
No. It means the company matches SourceX's preferred profile on the information given. Buyers have their own requirements.
What should I do with a Potential fit?
Ask the company for permission, then register a permissioned introduction as a SourceX referral partner.
Is anything I enter saved?
No. Screening runs in your browser.
