Referral program for executives, operators and board members
If you’ve run teams or sit on boards, you know which companies keep detailed records of how work gets done. An introduction to SourceX can turn that history into licensing revenue for the company and earn you up to $100,000 if the deal closes.
Why your network holds licensable data
Operators recognize valuable records: dispatch logs, claims files, field reports, billing workflows, engineering reviews.
Specialized operational domains are where public data is thinnest, and where licensed data adds the most.
Companies to look for
- Companies with 20 or more full-time employees and several years of documented operations
- Specialized operations such as logistics, field service, claims, healthcare billing, legal operations or recruiting
- Teams that work in structured systems rather than ad hoc email
How to raise it
- Raise it with the CEO or COO, and share the qualification criteria.
- Get permission before you pass on their details, then refer them with the decision-maker as the contact.
The guide to introducing a company has an email you can adapt.
Check first
- If you’re a director or officer of the company you refer, tell the board about any referral fee before the company decides.
- Don’t share the company’s data or internal documents yourself.
- Health records, billing and claims data are protected health information. Licensing them generally needs patient authorization or HIPAA-standard de-identification, and a business associate usually can’t license its clients’ data.
This is general information, not legal or tax advice.

Questions
Can I refer a company where I work?
If it’s your own company and you can decide for it, apply directly as a business instead. If you’re an employee or director, ask SourceX how its referral terms apply before you refer, and disclose any fee to the people who decide.
Know a company with years of records?
Introduce the company to SourceX. If its data deal closes, you can earn up to $100,000 in referral fees, paid after the buyer accepts the data and SourceX receives payment.
