Data licensing introductions during a restructuring

A restructuring may reveal company-controlled archives, but approval authority and rights must be clarified first. Do not present a possible data license as assured funding or a substitute for professional restructuring advice.

What to ask before an introduction

Identify the current decision maker and flag legal or contractual uncertainty for the company’s advisers. Ask whether the archives remain accessible and whether the sponsor has capacity to explore assessment. Do not promise a valuation, accelerated close or payment by a restructuring deadline. Pause if approval authority is disputed or the introduction would disrupt urgent work.

Check the company baseline

This hub focuses on US companies with 50 or more full-time employees at peak headcount; contractors are excluded. Operating, acquired and wound-down companies can be considered. Every industry is open for assessment, with knowledge-work companies the strongest fit. Look for years of company-controlled records and an authorized sponsor willing to explore licensing. Company size or a system inventory does not establish approval, rights or buyer demand.

You introduce; the company controls its data

How potential rewards work

A qualifying partner reward is 25% of the eligible SourceX platform fee actually collected, capped at $100,000 per referred company. It is not a share of the full transaction value. Payment follows the buyer selecting and paying for the data and SourceX receiving its fee. An introduction or assessment does not itself create a payout. No earnings or transaction outcome is promised. Attribution and other eligibility conditions remain subject to the program terms.
