SourceX referral status glossary
SourceX referral statuses track the progress of your introductions, from initial evaluation to the final payout, helping you monitor potential rewards.
Understanding Your Referral Status
When you refer a business to SourceX, you can track its progress through various stages and statuses in your partner dashboard. Each status indicates where the referral stands in the process, from initial introduction to potential payout. Understanding these statuses helps you anticipate when a reward may become eligible.
Referral Status Definitions
Here's a breakdown of the key statuses you'll encounter:
Estimated: This initial status indicates that your referral has been submitted and is under evaluation. While the opportunity is progressing, this status provides an indication of potential future reward. This is a preliminary assessment and does not guarantee eligibility or payment. Eligible: A referral reaches this status once SourceX has successfully received a qualifying platform fee from a data buyer, corresponding to a data licensing deal completed by your referred company. This signifies that the conditions for a potential reward have largely been met. Approved: After a referral becomes 'Eligible', SourceX's finance department reviews the receipt of the qualifying fee and officially approves the reward for payment. This is a critical step before a payout can be initiated. Processing: This status indicates that a payout for your approved reward is actively being prepared and is underway. This is the stage just before the funds are transferred. Paid:* Once the payout has been successfully completed and recorded, your referral will show as 'Paid'. This means the funds have been disbursed to your account.
Other Important Referral Conditions
Beyond the primary statuses, other conditions can affect your referral's journey:
Duplicate Review: If a company you refer is already known to SourceX, or if multiple partners introduce the same company, the referral goes into duplicate review. The first valid referral within the attribution window typically receives credit, provided the company completes a verified application. Self-referrals are also flagged for review and are generally not eligible. Ineligible: A referral may be deemed ineligible if it doesn't meet program criteria (e.g., the company doesn't fit buyer demand, or if specific program terms are not met). For example, a reward is not triggered by merely submitting a lead, making an introduction, or even a signed agreement if buyer payment has not been received. For more details on what qualifies, see Who Qualifies.
