• Initial Discussion: We start by understanding the types of operational data your company generates and holds.
• Scope Definition: You define the specific categories and periods of data you are comfortable exploring for potential licensing. Nothing proceeds without your explicit agreement on the data scope.
• Anonymization & De-identification: A critical step is ensuring that any data shared is rigorously anonymized. This means removing personally identifiable information (PII) and any other details that could link data back to individuals. This is never done by SourceX. You would be responsible for this step.
• Review and Approval: Before any data is shared with an AI lab or data buyer, you will have the opportunity to review the anonymized dataset or a representative sample. Nothing ships without your final, explicit approval.

The Licensing Process with SourceX

SourceX acts as the enterprise data transaction layer for AI. We manage data licensing from sourcing and rights review to delivery and payment. Our role is to ensure a secure, transparent, and compliant process for both data providers and AI labs.

• Data Rights: We verify that your company has the full legal rights to license the data in question.
• Secure Delivery: SourceX facilitates the secure transfer of approved, anonymized data to the AI labs, ensuring it meets their technical requirements.
• Payments: Partners earn 25% of the eligible platform fees SourceX actually collects from the referred company's licensing deals, up to $100,000 cumulative per referred company. The partner reward is a share of SourceX's fee and is never deducted from what the company receives. Rewards become payable only after the buyer pays and SourceX receives its fee. A lead, meeting or signed agreement alone does not trigger payment.
