How to get paid for referrals
Getting paid for a business referral requires three things: a recorded introduction, a completed deal, and collected revenue. Payment follows the money — not the introduction itself.
The honest sequence
- The introduction is recorded. Your referral link or introduction form ties the company to you from the first touch.
- The company is qualified. Not every introduction fits — for SourceX, the profile is US companies with 50+ full-time employees at peak.
- A deal completes. The referred company and a buyer agree terms and the transaction closes.
- The fee is collected. SourceX is paid its platform fee by the buyer.
- You are paid. Partners earn 25% of the fee SourceX actually collects, up to $100,000 per company, paid by bank transfer.
Why payment follows the money
Programs that pay on signature rather than collection take on risk they usually price into smaller rewards. Tying the reward to collected fees is what allows a meaningful percentage.
What you can always see
Every referred company shows a live status in your portal — credit under review, credit approved, payment in progress, payment sent. You never have to ask where things stand.
- Step 1Share your linkSend your personal link to a company you know.
- Step 2Company appliesThe company applies itself at /apply.
- Step 3Buyer selects and paysThe buyer selects and pays for the data and SourceX receives its fee.
- Step 4You get your rewardYour share of SourceX fees becomes payable.
