Referral program for iT, data and software consultants
Managed service providers, systems integrators and data consultancies already know what’s inside a client’s Microsoft 365, Zendesk, Jira or Salesforce. If a client has years of history worth licensing, introducing it to SourceX can earn you up to $100,000 when the deal closes.
Why your network holds licensable data
You can spot strong candidates quickly: long-running tenants, large helpdesks, busy Jira and Confluence instances, Salesforce orgs with years of opportunity history.
Clients may also need help exporting and preparing data once they decide to license it, which is work you may already do for them.
Companies to look for
- Clients with 20 or more full-time employees and several years in the same systems
- Helpdesks, code hosts or CRMs with consistent, well-tagged history
- Contact-center platforms with recorded calls and disclosure notices
How to raise it
- Raise it with the client’s owner or executive sponsor, not only your technical contact.
- Get permission before you pass on their details, then refer them with the decision-maker as the contact.

Check first
- Admin access isn’t authority to share. Don’t export, copy or describe client data for this purpose without the client’s written instruction.
- Check your services agreement and NDA with the client for any restrictions on referrals or fees.

Questions
Can I export the data for the client?
Only if the client instructs you to, after an agreement scopes what is licensed. The client is the licensor, and preparation requirements are agreed before any work begins.
Know a company with years of records?
Introduce the company to SourceX. If its data deal closes, you can earn up to $100,000 in referral fees, paid after the buyer accepts the data and SourceX receives payment.
