Identify companies with procurement and vendor management workflows
SourceX facilitates partnerships between businesses possessing unique operational data and AI buyers seeking to license this information. A key area of interest for many buyer programs involves detailed, proprietary data related to procurement and vendor management workflows. Referral partners can introduce companies that fit this profile and potentially earn rewards.
What kind of data is sought?
AI buyers are interested in structured and unstructured data that provides insight into how companies manage their procurement processes, engage with vendors, and optimize their supply chains. This can include:
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Documentation detailing how purchasing decisions are made, vendor onboarding, contract management, and performance monitoring. Internal Knowledge Bases: Information systems, wikis, or repositories containing guidelines, best practices, and historical data on vendor interactions. Project Histories: Records of past procurement projects, including timelines, challenges, successes, and resource allocation. QA Records: Quality assurance documentation related to vendor performance, product/service delivery, and compliance. Support Workflows: Processes for managing vendor inquiries, issue resolution, and ongoing support interactions. Supply Chain Documentation: Data on logistics, inventory management, supplier relationships, and risk assessment within the supply chain.
What makes a company a good fit?
For a company with procurement and vendor management data to be a strong referral, consider these screening points:
Operating maturity: Many buyer programs look for companies with roughly 20 or more full-time employees and several years in operation. Larger organizations often have more developed and documented workflows. Original documentation: The company should possess SOPs, internal knowledge bases, project histories, QA records, support workflows, and similar material that it created itself and uses in its daily operations. Rights to license: The company must own the material, or be able to license it without breaching client confidentiality, employee privacy, or third-party contracts. This is critical for any data licensing arrangement. An authorized sponsor: An owner, executive, or someone they designate needs to be willing to approve a discussion with SourceX about licensing their data. Relevance to buyer demand:* The material has to match a real buyer program. SourceX evaluates this during the review process. A company that does not fit one program may fit another later.
It's important to remember that companies that only want to sell a one-off file with no documentation or context are usually not a fit. Similarly, material that belongs to the company's clients rather than the company itself is typically not eligible.
How SourceX supports the process
When you introduce an eligible business, SourceX handles the subsequent steps. You do not need to export, upload, or describe confidential records. The company itself controls whether to proceed, what scope of data to offer, and the terms it accepts. SourceX manages evaluation, permissions, contracting, preparation, delivery, and payment collection according to each approved transaction.
Earn rewards for successful referrals
As a referral partner, you earn a reward when a referred company completes a qualifying licensing deal, the data is accepted, and SourceX receives buyer payment. Your dashboard tracks each referral's stage and reward status.
Illustrative Example: Imagine you introduce a manufacturing company with extensive, well-documented procurement SOPs and vendor performance metrics. SourceX evaluates their data and connects them with an AI buyer looking to optimize supply chain efficiency. A licensing agreement is reached, and after the data is delivered and SourceX collects its fee, your reward becomes eligible for payment.
Try the company fit checker for a preliminary, non-binding screening of potential referrals. You can also explore the referral earnings calculator to see how rewards are structured.
Rewards are calculated as 25% of SourceX's eligible collected platform fees, capped at $100,000 per referred company. A lead, meeting or signed agreement alone does not trigger payment. See the program terms.
