Creating a Referral Link Alone Does Not Guarantee a Reward

While creating your personal referral link is the essential first step to participate in the SourceX referral program, it does not, on its own, make an introduction eligible for a reward. Your referral link enables tracking, but a reward is contingent upon a series of subsequent events, primarily the successful completion of a data licensing deal and SourceX receiving payment.

What Triggers Reward Eligibility?

For a reward to become eligible, several stages must be successfully completed after you make an introduction via your link:

1. SourceX reviews the opportunity: We assess the referred company's operating history, documentation, data rights, and relevance to buyer programs.
2. The company completes a qualifying licensing deal: The referred company agrees to license its proprietary operational data, defining the scope and commercial terms.
3. Data is accepted and buyer payment is received: The buyer must accept the delivered data, and SourceX must collect its platform fee from that transaction.

Only after SourceX has received its eligible platform fees from a qualifying deal does your reward become eligible for approval and payment. This process is detailed further in how it works.

What Does Not Trigger a Reward?

As explicitly stated in the program guidelines, certain actions, while part of the referral process, do not by themselves trigger a reward:

Submitting a lead or making an introduction alone. A meeting, a call, or a signed agreement before buyer payment is received. * A company that was already in discussion with SourceX before your introduction.

Tracking Your Referral's Progress

Your dashboard provides real-time updates on each referral's stage and its reward status. You can track whether a referral is Estimated, Eligible, Approved, or Paid. This transparency allows you to monitor the journey from introduction to potential reward.

Rewards are calculated as 25% of SourceX's eligible collected platform fees, capped at $100,000 per referred company. A lead, meeting or signed agreement alone does not trigger payment. See the program terms.
