What Each Check Means for Your Referral
- US Company Base: SourceX currently prioritizes collaborations with companies headquartered in the United States. While anyone from any supported country can be a partner, the referred company needs to be US-based.
- 50+ Full-Time Employees (Peak): This criterion helps ensure the referred company has the scale and operational history typically associated with valuable, licensable datasets. SourceX seeks companies with established data streams.
- Years of Operating Records: A long operating history often correlates with a richer, more diverse dataset. This suggests the data has sufficient depth and breadth for AI labs and data buyers.
- Rights to License Data: This is fundamental. SourceX's role is to manage data licensing, and this is only possible if the company unequivocally owns or has the necessary rights to share its data. The partner reward is a share of SourceX's fee and is never deducted from what the company receives.
- Authorized Sponsor: Engaging with an authorized sponsor streamlines the process. This ensures that initial conversations and subsequent steps are productive and avoid unnecessary delays.
Rewards for Successful Referrals
By successfully referring companies that meet these criteria and go on to complete licensing deals, partners earn 25% of the eligible platform fees SourceX actually collects from the referred company's licensing deals. Rewards are capped at $100,000 cumulative per referred company. Rewards become payable only after the buyer pays and SourceX receives its fee. A lead, meeting or signed agreement alone does not trigger payment.
Credit goes to the first valid referrer whose introduction leads to a verified company application within the attribution window. Refer US companies with 50+ full-time employees at peak, years of operating records, rights to license the data and an authorized sponsor.
