Introducing companies with valuable data assets to SourceX can unlock significant rewards. For CRM and RevOps consultants, preparing an introduction often involves understanding a company's data landscape. To facilitate this process without requiring access to sensitive information, we've developed a metadata-only Salesforce inventory template.
This template is designed to help you quickly identify potential data licensing opportunities within a referred company's Salesforce environment. It focuses purely on metadata – the 'data about data' – ensuring that no actual company data is ever shared or handled by the partner. This aligns with SourceX's strict data privacy principles and confirms that partners never handle company data.
Why a Metadata-Only Template?
SourceX manages data licensing from sourcing and rights review to delivery and payment (F09). Our focus is on connecting data holders with AI labs and data buyers. When you refer a company, the core value proposition revolves around the data they can license.
However, getting granular details about specific datasets can be sensitive and is best handled directly by the company and SourceX. Your role as a partner is to make the introduction and provide enough context for SourceX to evaluate the opportunity. This metadata template bridges that gap by allowing you to structure high-level information about potential data sources within Salesforce.
It helps answer questions like: 'What types of records does this company have in Salesforce?' and 'What date ranges do these records cover?' without ever revealing the contents of those records.
Using the Salesforce Data Inventory Template
This template helps you gather the necessary high-level insights for a strong introduction while respecting data privacy. It's a structured way to outline the types of data that might be valuable for licensing, prompting discussion around data completeness and potential commercialization.

Partner Rewards
Partners earn 25% of the eligible platform fees SourceX actually collects from the referred company's licensing deals (F01). Rewards are capped at $100,000 cumulative per referred company (F02).
Rewards become payable only after the buyer pays and SourceX receives its fee (F03).
Who Qualifies for Introduction?
We're looking for US companies with 50+ full-time employees at peak, years of operating records, rights to license the data, and an authorized sponsor (F06).
Anyone can join our program from any supported country (F05). Licensed professionals should check their own rules on referral fees.
