What is a data transaction layer for AI?

A data transaction layer handles the full path between companies that hold data and AI buyers that need it: assessment, anonymization, structuring, terms and payment.

The definition

SourceX is the enterprise data transaction layer for AI. That means it handles everything between "a company has data" and "a buyer pays for it":

  • Assessment — what data exists and what it may be worth.
  • Preparation — anonymization, structuring, documentation of rights.
  • Transaction — matching with buyers, terms, and payment flow.

Why a layer is needed

Companies do not know what buyers want or how to price data. Buyers cannot evaluate thousands of individual companies. A transaction layer makes both sides work — the same reason reported licensing deals involve structured agreements rather than ad-hoc transfers (Reuters).

Where partners fit

Partners make introductions; SourceX handles the rest. If a referred company closes a deal and SourceX collects its fee, the partner earns 25% of that fee, up to $100,000 per company.
